Well, we did it! We had our first tasting event on April 29th, 2018, and the evening was a hit! We had seventeen beers and fifteen attendees. The food was fantastic: we had a wonderful cheese platter made by Salt and Vine here in Anacortes; charcuterie from Slough Food in Edison, WA; handmade by Sue (my mom) crostini with several spreads: chèvre and pickled sweet peppers, hummus and olive tapenade, etc.; a wonderful cream of cauliflower soup (also my mom’s creation); beer glazed chicken skewers; sour beer pickled veggies; and much more.
